Children’s Art Gallery

Deaf Arts Festival is proud to announce its very own Children’s Art Gallery located at De Sales Center in Brooklyn, Michigan.  It is open to the public, free of charge, every 2-3 years during the festival. Our dream is to have artwork, created by Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind children around Michigan and other states, recognized and appreciated by every person.   It is very important for children to receive vast amounts of positive attention as they grow, in order to develop  self-esteem and pride in their own work. Every child has an inner artist that needs to be groomed.  This includes exposure to endless possibilities in the world of art to enable them to flourish and become successful in adulthood.  The problem is capturing their creativity now, to help them continue to thrive later.  That is where you play an important role in supporting our aspiring artists.
